Here at Flickering Myth we’ve been keeping you updated about the PLAY it! event at the MOSI in Manchester. Well today we can reveal the full event line-up and what you can expect to see.
PLAY it! will be separated into six individual gaming zone, which are as follows:-
1. Celebrations
These will be themed tributes to the very best gaming franchises, offering hands-on play of video games old and new: from Mario & Sonic to Tomb Raider, Star Wars and Lego Games.
2. The Ring: Modern Games & Tournaments
The Ring – a 16 screen gaming carousel hosting both casual and competitive head-to-head LAN gaming on some of the best “FPS” and driving games of recent times....
Mancunians using the Metrolink were left puzzled as the city centre’s busiest tram stops were renamed by a team of mischievous computer game characters.
Was Mario a Computer Game Character? I guess if you count the PC that was inside the Cabinet for OG DK. But Luigi....Console.
With just two weeks until the event kicks off, Replay Events announced some more names to the PLAY Expo Blackpool lineup.
Just announced is possibly one of the most exciting Retro Gaming Events created within the UK. The London Gaming Market is coming and it’s going to be the place to buy retro video-games, board games and merchandise all in one location!
Every four months at Royal National Hotel in Russell Square London, the London Gaming Market will set up its big stall. The initial launch date will be on Sunday 15th of November 2015, with the following dates being March 6th 2016, July 3rd 2016 and November 6th 2016.
This Retro Gaming Event is brought to you by Replay Events (PLAY it!, PLAY Expo), Showmasters and Dark Cleo Productions. The London Gaming Market is the first event of its kind held in the heart of London.
