Gain Political Dominance in Siboot from Chris Crawford

Serena Nelson writes: "Have you ever wanted to play a game where you didn't have to have a twitchy trigger finger, reflexes like a cat, or the need to solve every puzzle on the planet? Chris Crawford has taken to Kickstarter to develop Siboot, a game based less on dexterity or intelligence and more on intuition and reading others' emotional cues.

In Siboot you're playing as one of four political rivals seeking to gain control of a colony on a remote and desolate alien world. Do whatever you can to succeed: gossip, lie, threaten, manipulate and otherwise use your enemies' own weaknesses against them in debates and other forms of political machinations. Sounds like fun, no?"

Failed Kickstarter Videogame Campaigns and Analysis for July 2015

Marcus Estrada writes: "Every month Kickstarter is full of wild successes, and depressing failures. While some are always going to have that massive fan push behind them to see hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding others barely make it to the finish line. Due to the nature of Kickstarter, there’s simply not enough money to go around to fund every worthwhile campaign. The purpose of this post is to shine a light on those campaigns that had the chops for success, but for one reason or another failed to make their goal this time."

Shame about Galaxy Heist. That one sounded pretty good.

What Kickstarter Video Game Campaigns Launched June 7 - 13?

Greg Micek writes: "Every week we take a brief look at all of the Kickstarter campaigns that launched in the previous week. This isn't to say that all of these projects are worth your hard earned cash, but with any luck having all of them in one place will make it easier to educate yourself on the projects you'd like to back, and which ones to run from. This week there were 39 to choose from."
