DC:
Bladestorm: Nightmare is a compilation of Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War from 2007, as well as a new alternate campaign mode with a dark fantasy setting known as Nightmare. Unfortunately, I didn't find either to be very compelling.
Omega Force is well known for the long-running Dynasty Warriors franchise and Bladestorm's gameplay is largely inspired by it. Warriors games are numerous and unique enough that they're practically their own genre, and like other 'niche' genres and franchises, they're fairly polarizing. Yet, they clearly have at least a strong enough following to generate new entries year after year. Generally speaking, I tend to gravitate away from the Warriors games, but given the chance, I wanted to give Bladestorm: Nightmare a go, especially given the Nightmare campaign and its dark fantasy elements.
"Amazon has added new game deals for March 29th. Deals are Star Wars: Battlefront $32, South Park: The Stick of Truth $10, BLADESTORM: Nightmare $22 and lots more!"
Colm Ahern: "Do you remember the Nightmare war? I don’t. Regardless, I still played some Bladestorm: Nightmare"
Not every game's box art is appealing, and 2015 has proven that some try to avoid being so altogether.
Out of all the generic zoomed in faces and bro-walks cover at we've seen this year, you've chosen Nobunaga's Ambition as terrible boxart? Quite the contrary, in my opinion because it reminds me of the great VHS art of yesteryear such as Big Trouble in Little China or Indiana Jones and at least it's hand drawn.
