Rhys from Awesome Games writes: 'Tales from the Borderlands has made me a very happy man. Not only is it the second game I know that features a main character that shares my name (the other being Phantasy Star III), it’s also a surprisingly strong start from an entry in a series known more for its loot hoarding and gunplay, as opposed to player choice and split second decision making seen in Telltale’s offering. I had a feeling Tales from the Borderlands would be good, what I wasn’t aware of was that its first episode, Zer0 Sum, would completely blow my mind and leave me clamouring for more.'
"Come hang out and talk Telltale with us. This episode we talk about Tales From The Borderlands Episode 5 – Zer0 Sum." -- PlayStation Enthusiast
Tales from the Borderlands – Episode One: Zer0 Sum does a brilliant job of drawing the player into the world of Pandora. Both fans of the franchise, and players being introduced for the first time, will appreciate the engaging characters and their story.
FGE - Tales From The Borderlands is an episodic series that follows the events after Borderlands 2. This series follows a Hyperion character called Rhys that is trying to become the next Handsome Jack, it also follows Fiona, a Pandoran con artist that is trying to pull off the biggest scandal that’s supposed to score her big numbers. Brought together by the same reasons, Rhys and Fiona stories are told through their own perspectives while being tied up. As you switch between two characters you learn more of the story and what really actually happened. Ryhs and Fiona both claim that they are telling the truth, but they don’t get along at all so this plays a huge factor in the credibility of the story told from two different perspectives.
Probably the best series telltale game has ever made.
