Damn that's alot of money man, and he got some collector's editions too

bouzebbal1110d ago

i'd like to be his friend

Paprika1110d ago

He'd like you to be his friend... he sold his others to fund his addiction.

Some of those games are not even opened. I had a friend who used to buy 3 of each PS2 games. His excuse was
one to play, one to keep, and one to resale. He did the same thing with Transformers toys, But we told him that he had issues and he should stop. It can be a very bad habit.

StrawberryDiesel4201109d ago

Why would a person buy a new game just to resell? I can understand keeping one in the manufacturers plastic seal and opening one to play. It makes no sense to buy a third copy just to resell, if this is true your friend has major issues and disposable income.

kayoss1109d ago (Edited 1109d ago )

That's why he has a problem. When the PS2 was released, he went out and bought 6 copies of Final Fantasy VII for some odd reason. Til this day, he still has all 6 copies and would not give me one. When he moved, the first thing he did was to dedicate an extra room for all his games. I lost count of how many boxes of video games we had to move but it was a lot...

Themba761110d ago

wow and ppl say ps4 has no games looking at this really?

Masterchief_thegoat1110d ago

only if you like some of the game he brought

SniperControl1110d ago

@masterchief

Couldn't that argument be used with X1 games as well.

Still, shows that the PS4 has a lot of games to choose from and these are just hardcopies, think about the digital only games.

Masterchief_thegoat1110d ago (Edited 1110d ago )

@snipercontrol same with xb1, half the game he brought, is either wack, disappointed, or great games

IGiveHugs2NakedWomen1110d ago

@Masterchief_thegoat

"half the game he brought, is either wack, disappointed, or great games"

I don't even know how to respond to that. I'm dumbfounded and completely at a loss for words.

@Masterchief_thegoat:

Uh... what's the other half?

NotAfanBoyy1110d ago

A LOT of those games are Multiplat - I think people are talking about few Exclusives

OB1Biker1109d ago

No they deliberately say 'No game' to suit their propaganda
then you can say they mean
- PS4 exclusive only
-Playstation exclusive games
-any game not on Xbone
-any game also on any platform

HollowZbankai1110d ago

Without looking at the video yet, To go above and beyond, he better of shot this video with the ps camera....that would be icing on the cake :)

DragoonsScaleLegends1110d ago

Wow I wish I had the money to be a game collector like him.

GamingSinceThe80s1110d ago (Edited 1110d ago )

The best way to do it imo is to wait until the middle or end of the gen and buy them when they are super cheap.Doing it his way costs to much and is like throwing money away.I mean buy way more new games than I can play of too,but this is ridiculous at $60 bucks a pop.Most of those games will be worth $2 to $5 at most in just a few years.Just noticed most if not all those games are unopened that seems like even more of a waste of money.

nowitzki20041109d ago

a lot of catching up to do that way. i tried to have one for my 360 when it started but its useless you spend so much money. just collect games you love. try not selling them.

WeAreLegion1110d ago

Why would you even buy some of those? Puddy Squad? Angry Birds? Who would pay that much for Angry Birds?

Malphite1110d ago (Edited 1110d ago )

If someone buys literally every single game available he probably doesn't have to worry about money very much anyway.

Gotta catch 'em all!

WeAreLegion1109d ago

Maybe. I buy every good game across all three consoles, Vita, 3DS, and PC. Yet, I'm pulling in roughly $25k a year. I even have a family. I don't think it's that expensive. You just have to plan ahead and budget.
