I wished they changed the name into something else. I keep thinking about Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, particular "operation meteor".

Zero isn't a name change. It's the original name of the game. Fatal Frame is the localised name of the game.

I guessed I'm so used to the localized name. Thanks for the information though!

Not just FFV. I still want FFIV.

Here's hoping they're successful.
I'd get the game if it came out in the states, for sure, and I'm not even big into horror games.
It'd be a good game to play with my girlfriend, though; she gets a kick out of scary stuff and I can imagine her clinging to me and squealing whenever a jump scare happens.
Fun times, that.

I mean that was sort of obvious.
There was literally nothing on this franchise, then they ported Maiden of Black Water likely because it was the easier one to translate to modern devices being a Wii U title and all. And now we are getting a remaster of the 4th title. So it stands to reason that Maiden of Black Water was successful enough to start the whole process.

A remaster of the Fatal Frame 2 remake that was on Wii would be very welcome as well. That game is great. Scared the crap out of me the first time I played it as well lol.
