Best deal for people looking to purchase PS4 and Destiny. That makes the price of PS4 $360~$370.

lebr0n3504d ago

Is Destiny the best PS4 game out there? I heard a lot of mixed reviews concerning the game.

Eonjay3504d ago

Really depends on if you like MMO style play. If so its one of the best out there. If not, you may be interested in one of the assortment of games available for the console.

iiorestesii3504d ago

@Lebron Destiny is highly repetitive. The pvp is good, but even then there's only 5 or 6 maps I think. Basically expect to be fully engaged for about 7 hours worth of content. Having said this it does have excellent connectivity and excellent shooter mechanics. Best game? For me its split. Towerfall, Crimsonland, and Resogun

Spenok3504d ago (Edited 3504d ago )

Absolutely not. Though that IS just my opinion. To me it is a pretty good game, yes, however it is severely lacking in content, and only takes a couple of weeks to finish. Sure, they will be supporting it for several years to come, but as of right now it needs more. I love MMO's, and this game just doesn't have whats necessary to keep my attention.

However, I have faith in Bungie and plan to keep up with it. I've also bought the first two exp pack deal, so I have only a few months to wait for more to be added.

Again, not a bad game, just not a GREAT one either. It's decent, and has potential.

jacobvogel3504d ago

The list includes FIFA 15 and NBA 2K15 too :)

andrewsimons3504d ago

Any one played LEGO games? Which game is better LEGO Hobbit or LEGO Movie?

kurruptor3504d ago

I'd say whichever movie you liked more. Hobbit only covers first 2 movies, with no announcement for third, whether it will be DLC or a new game.

edgarohickman3504d ago

Do Kmart deliver on release date?

Tom873504d ago

A lot of great deals. Thanks OP

liamn3504d ago

PlayStation 4 Destiny Bundle + Plantronics Headset + KillZone: Shadow Fall for $449.99 is a nice deal too

That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it

LucasRuinedChildhood354d ago (Edited 354d ago )

This was back when the game wasn't free to play.

The figures are from November 2017 to February 2019 (1 year and 4 months).

Based on that projection, the MTX revenue for Destiny 2 likely would have been closer to ~$240m for 2 years.

Not sure if premium expansions are included in that figure either although ... I'd hope that they are though and that most of the revenue was for actual content like Forsaken.

People spend way too much money on cosmetics.

Rude-ro354d ago (Edited 354d ago )

Seasons($10 and just got bumped to $12) and dungeon keys($10 each, two a year) are through the eververse(micro transaction) store.
So for those two years, in order to play a season, you would pay through micro transactions.

Sonic1881354d ago (Edited 354d ago )

Bungie Marathon will be worse since it's designed around it as well

Kurt Russell353d ago

It makes me sad to agree... but at the same time I am looking forward to giving it a go. Destiny 2 is so far in, I find it difficult to figure out what I am meant to do first.

buffig354d ago

I think FIFA alone makes over $1bn a year from mtx

anast354d ago

FIFA promotes a worldwide sport. It should make more money than destiny.

CantThinkOfAUsername354d ago (Edited 354d ago )

Let's compare something similar. Apex Legends and its ridiculous $18/$40 skins make EA a billion each year.

z2g353d ago

For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.

spicelicka353d ago

By "people" you're referring to millions and millions of people. Obviously the ones complaining aren't necessarily the same as the ones spending all that money.

There's millions that purchase MTX and there's nothing we can do about it

I've been thinking about playing through D1 again before it goes away...

CobraKai505d ago

That’s the sad reality of a game like this. I bought it, invested lots of money, and it can go away at anytime. I still think this was more fun than 2.

jeromeface504d ago

prob because 2 is a grindfest slog

spoonard501d ago

That's the bummer of 'games as a service'.
