This week, Zero Punctuation reviews the epic failure that was Daikatana.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "We revisit Daikatana, the dull first-person shooter that single-handedly destroyed the reputation of the once famed game designer John Romero."
ExclusivelyGames.com writes:
''Long before Star Wars Battlefront II or Fallout 76 were courting controversy, there was one game that had the gaming press throwing their hands in the air out of frustration. That game was John Romero’s Daikatana (Ion Storm, 2000).''
John Romero is selling several personal copies of his games including Daikatana and Doom 64.
I wish Zenimax and Bethesda would allow him to make a new Commander Keen, because he has said how he wants to make a new game.
I so would enjoy seeing John making games again, them not just being games for your phone and what he could think up next.
