You should read the article first before making that assumption:
"Please note that the game has only been in development for 6 weeks and to be honest I think Exorcism looks very awesome already.
Slush Games also mentioned that they want to bring the game to consoles but said that they can’t promise it at the moment."
The game has only been in developement for 6 weeks. But the fact they don't promise to bring it for console when they can make it for vita means Slush Games is an indie dev (cmiiw, because this is the 1st time i heard the name) and this gen sony gave a lot of support / promoted for indie games.
Inception is totally right - we're small indie team.
PSP Vita is one of our target platform for our game, but not the only one - we support it because we want our game on PSP and it's easy to develop for it (Thanks to SONY indie initiative).
Also I want to mention - the game is rather small. It's not a new Diablo - it's a dual-stick shooter like Geometry War. Yes, the game will include level ups, loot drop, upgrades and magic skills - but the main gameplay is to kill thousands of enemies as effective as you can. No more, no less.
Gosh I saw a $200 Borderlands 2 Vita Bundle yesterday and almost bought it, but then I thought... what is there to play? Someone give me an honest review of the Vita, if they have one...
There are a lot of indies on it, whitch to me aint no problem, love a lot of them. There's also a lot of japanese games on it, jrpgs etc. The vita are selling pretty good in japan so hopefully there will be a lot of games coming from there in the future. and ofc there's all the psone and psp games on the store.
Killzone Hot Shots Golf God of War Collection Hotline Miami (so awesome) Rogue Legacy (so awesome) Fez Steamworld Dig Dead Nation TxK (tempest 2k remake from Minter!) Guacamelee! Zen Pinball 2 Stealth Inc. Tearaway Spelunky
Those are all 8.0+ games IMO. Most are inexpensive too. If you're already a PS+ member, you'll get to enjoy a load of free games (that you're already sort of paying for).
Plus, remoteplay is a very cool feature for your PS4.
Well, i don't know what kind of games do you like. But i can give you some list that i think worth to play, especially if you like RPG or monster hunter genre. Don't worry, no indies in my list even though i love to play a couple of them like Guacamelee, Hotline Miami, or Velocity Ultra on my vita.
- Ys Celceta (vita exclusive) - Gravity Rush (vita exclusive) - Uncharted: Golden Abyss (vita exclusive) - Toukiden (vita exclusive) - Soul Sacrifice (vita exclusive) - Tales of Hearts R (a remake from NDS, but the NDS ver never came to the west) - Freedom Wars (vita exclusive) - Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (a remake from PSP) - Killzone: Mercenary (vita exclusive) - Dragon's Crown (multiplat with PS3) - Muramasa Rebirth (a port from Wii with better localization, graphic, control, and content) - Persona 4 Golden (a remaster from PS2 with better graphic and content) - Dokuro (vita exclusive until they port it for ios) - Tearaway (there will be a PS4 ver next year) - No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzle Either (vita exclusive, F2P, but you can finished it without paying a single dime)
I want to reccomend more titles but i will hold it until you get a vita.
here's another 3rd party Vita game here not being promoted by Sony. *sigh* Sony.
Nothing amusing.
Gothic + RPG elements + Vita = On my radar :)

I still love my Vita, not like sony does.
