Further to their announcement that Gamescom would be a big time for the franchise, Konami have announced that they've organized a special "preview night" dedicated to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The show will be hosted by Geoff Keighley and will feature an exclusive demonstration by Hideo Kojima of "the impressive capabilities of Kojima Productions’ breathtaking FOX Engine." The evening will coincide with Gamescom and will take place in Cologne, Germany.
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
Is it still too late to wish for David Hayter to return?
Confirming Voldin as the flaming demon in the trailers?
PC VERSION...PLEASE?!
I'd like a suprise "late 2014 release!"
I honestly have done everything possible in MGS GZ, 100% the trophies, done all the challenges, done everything.. the sooner I get the actual game the damned well better.
This is Peace Walker 2, and I consider the first the funnest MGS game, give it to me goddammit.
Great. So now I'm expecting a surprise. Hopefully it's a good one. Like Hayter coming back or a PC version.
