LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids (PlayStation Vita) Review - Push Square

Push Square: "LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids is the type of game that doesn’t reach above and beyond, but it does quite well with what it has. While other games in the illustrious LEGO catalogue can ride high on the backs of popular franchises, this one works on its own accord, and does it well. The gameplay has remained mostly unchanged from the titles that came before it – albeit with a slightly stronger emphasis on platforming than puzzle solving – but it fits well in the ninja themed universe where the story is set. Fans of the Ninjago construction sets and television series are sure to love being able to take control of their favourite heroes, but anyone simply looking for a new action adventure to play through may not be overly enchanted with this one."

LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids Review | The Vita Lounge

LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids continues the tradition of LEGO games that provide fun and light gameplay in short bursts. If you’re a fan of the LEGO Ninjago series, this game offers a lot to enjoy. And if you’ve never heard of Ninjago, but still enjoy a easy-going romp through a world made of LEGOs, then there’s something here for you too (just don’t expect to understand what is going on). It does start to feel as though all the LEGO games are beginning to blend together and have a feel of sameness, but on it’s own, Nindroids kicks some robot ninja butt.

Interested in this, I do like a LEGO game if for nothing else than an easy platinum. ;)

I never thought the Lego games on Vita ever got a fair shake. People would always compare them against the console version, never taking into account that they were very different games.

The nice thing about the Ninjago games is there are no console versions to compare them too. This is the only experience you're going to get, and this they stand on their own.

This one is pretty good. I picked it up awhile ago and have a good time with it. It definitely does start to feel the same as the others, but I like that. I liked the others so it only makes sense that I'd enjoy this too.
