Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Thoughts

The team over at PS Vita Reviews have collected some thoughts on the one Metal Gear Solid not included in the Vita's HD Collection, Peace Walker.

"Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is one of the newest and most evolved games in the series. While the presentation took a hit when stretched onto the Vita’s screen and there are some lengthy load times, it’s still one of the best games the series has to offer. If you’re a Metal Gear fan and own a Vita, there’s no reason not to hop onto PSN and spend $20 on one of the best games the PSP library has to offer."

Got stuck on that awful excavation vehicle type boss and gave up. I've never not finished a mgs game -except this one.

The really big one? That thing wasn't hard. I played the heck out of this game, its my second favorite mgs.

It's an awesome game.
Story was a bit weird, but what MGS game isn't. lol. However, it's really good. ^_^

Suggestions? It kicks my butt and I barely put a dent on it.

The worst Metal Gear game I've ever played since MGS4.
Hell I even tolerated the Ac!d card games. The plot was soooo bloody stupid, I couldn't even... You get to peek at an under aged girl in her underwear, but wait! She's not under aged, but Wait! It's Kojima, so it must make sense right?

The only good thing about this title were the gameplay improvements. I'm not remotely saying MGS is a pinnacle of fine story telling, but when you manage to make the next tale, arguably worse than MGS4's, that's something.

Quit MGS after the low grade anime bollocks I had to tolerate. I'll only get MGS V, if the story isn't like fan fiction a 3rd grader penned down.

Kojima, PLEASE hand the series to an ACTUAL writer in the future.

Secondly, you are NOT a film director.

Snakes's story is finished, we all know how all the snakes end up. Spare our brain cells, & stop milking the horrible arch with more prequels.

I'm a MGS fan, but bloody hell, no more until, the series is more credible imo.

Oh of course I am mate. I just don't have kojima & Konami's knob in my mouth. Dead horse of a badly written story, repackaging of same games multiple times, and being sold a demo.

Nah mate.. Not sheep like most of you lot.

A fantastic game. But it really would've been even better as a full console game.

Metal Slug XX is surprisingly good.

I get that The Warriors is technically a PS2 game ported over, but damn it's amazing on the PSP

Dark Mirror was the best. Multiplayer and single player was fantastic

The Out of Place Artifact - A Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Retrospective

VGChartz's Issa Maki: "Even to fans, the thought that a T-rated game could rank as the greatest is virtually unthinkable; how could the best Metal Gear possibly be a handheld title on a system less powerful than a PlayStation 2? Because it had to be – necessity is the mother of invention. Not only is this a full-fledged Metal Gear, the fresh spin on the gameplay draws from several sources outside of its wheelhouse. Peace Walker somehow manages to be less like its predecessor, Portable Ops, and more akin to Metal Gear Solid V. What boggles the mind is that it would be over five years before The Phantom Pain would release, an entire generation later."
