Grab It has some footage from the Westernvania, Gameboy inspired platformer 2-Bit Cowboy.
Gamezebo - I never had the chance to play the first 2-bit Cowboy. Not that I think it would have had a significant effect on my perceptions of the sequel, but I wanted to be upfront about that. So yeah, I won’t be comparing 2-bit Cowboy Rides Again to the original game.
"Cascadia Games has released a new, free version of its excellent 2D platforming "Westernvania" 2-Bit Cowboy today.
We reviewed the original paid version in Grab It Episode #5 and had a great time running, gunning and exploring our way through its Game Boy inspired levels." - Grab It
Interesting move this giving the gamer the option to play with or without ads. I'd rather just pay personally, but I certainly appreciate the option.
I've seen a couple of games do this. I guess they do it for more coverage? So many people won't pay for mobile games because of King and Zynga etc. Shame because most of the truly awesome games only cost up to $10. That's what I spend on coffee in a day, not much.
Cascadia Games' retro-flavoured platformer has just launched on the App Store - Grab It Reports

Game actually looks super cool!
I'm starting to warm to this. The visual style put me off at first. But I am warming to it.
