My top 3 are Mario 3, Mario World and Mario 64. Mario Odyssey is also excellent, and I enjoyed Sunshine but didn't care for the Galaxy series.

This is classic Capcom. They everything they go on a hot streak and win back some consumer good will they have to turn around and burn it to the ground and have to start the whole process again.
Additional DRM just pushes people to pirate more. These ignorant executives just don't get it. Only the legitimate customer is affected by DRM. 😕

I must say, the 3DS has come a looooong way. Went from sure fire failure to nearly instant success. And it had to do with one simple thing: all the games. Seriously, it went from having so little to having too many! My backlog on 3DS (both physical and digital) is so large I'm not even halfway through with it.
