The large Japanese retailer, Tsutaya, has released their game ranking for the week between Feb 10 - Feb 16.
The creative director of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has revealed that Enguarde almost made it into the game.
I'm glad they didn't. I heard he was asking for way too much money to reprise his role as a mascot. Which is ludicrous since everybody knows Rambi is the real star here. Enguarde is just a second stinger at best.

Very good sales for Donkey kong country tropical freeze ..it only accounts for 4 days worth of sales(2-13-2/16) since it came out on the 13th in Japan
Good stuff, hope it moves a few units alongside that.
I hope it does well here in the states.
