Titanfall will be launching this coming March, but what would have happened if Titanfall was an Xbox One launch title back in November when the system launched?
Recently, Respawn Entertainment programmer Jon Shiring talked about some of the craziness that is associated with being a console launch title, and referenced one of the hardest things being the changing of the console leading up to launch.
In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
wouldn't have made much of a difference the xbox was sold out everywhere at launch so it was a successful launch in microsofts eyes.
Having titanlfall come out later is just as good cause am sure the reviews will be good and it will sway even more people to go out and buy an x1.
Still on the fence about getting an x1 myself (bought a ps4) so I will see how it gets on.
If it had been a launch title then the game drought would have been even more pronounced. Missing the launch window will probably be a good thing for both Respawn and MS since Respawn gets to release their game with very little competition and MS will probably get a X1 sales bump in March because of it.
Didn't need to be, frankly.. any time in 2014 is lethal.
It wouldn't have been ready...for a game that is trying to be ambitious...that's why we have COD and Battlefield. Those are veteran games and look at the mess..
It didn't even need to be a launch title that's how good the Xbox One has sold. They are releasing it at a great time imo.. March is usually pretty quite for the games it produces and this will fill in that slot perfectly. Good move by MS to have it come out in March. Spring Break will be TitanFall Break.
