Review: Animal Crossing: New Leaf | oprainfall

oprainfall's Jeff Neuenschwander writes:

"Hi. My name is Jeff, and I’m addicted to Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Okay… um… I spent about 145 hours since June 28 playing the game almost every day up until a couple of weeks ago. I just needed to stop because… it honestly doesn’t make sense why I would keep playing it. There is no good aspect that stands out." (3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf)

Good call. This game had great potential, but inevitably fell into the same pit as the previous AC: running out of things to do. A guy can only fish for so long. This game hopefully will be massive on Wii U. Even being the mayor was a pain. Having to wait for suggestions from the townspeople is just silly. I played for months without having a police station. Or even the Option of one. Animal crossing could be a sleeper hit on Wii U, but they have to keep players busy.
