Youtube's new copyright policy is now in full effect and some videogame publishers are trying to combat the problems, including Blizzard and Capcom.

One of the highlights of FanimeCon 2025 was the Capcom cosplay gathering.
Capcom has removed GFWL from PC versions of Lost Planet 1 and 2 as well as other titles on Steam alongside support for online features.

This is great.In the end both parties will benefit. Gamer's will give more exposure to games in return PUBS will get more sales.
It's all downhill from here folks. I am guessing that in a year most big video game content makers move from youtube to greener pastures.
If a simple and easy solution cannot be found to these ridiculous copyright claims, YouTube is going to quickly become redundant for game reviews / broadcasting.
If Twitch or UStream can improve their archiving of recorded content then they could easily unseat YouTube as the go-to place for gamers.
