Few franchises approach the same level of destructibility and gunfire as the Battlefield games. This primarily PC-centric series has been one of the highlights of multiplayer gaming every year a new title is released, although those limited to consoles haven’t been able to enjoy the full Battlefield experience until now.
Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.
if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.
Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.
Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect
The shooter genre is one of the most beloved videogame genres in the gaming community, and rightfully so. From DOOM Eternal to Battlefield 4, passing through The Outer Worlds, the Xbox Game Pass has a lot to offer when it comes to amazing shooter experiences. Come check out some great shooter games available on Xbox Game Pass!
There's a bunch of great shooters on gamepass; both legacy and new.
A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.
KeenGamer: "Sometimes a game starts out as a buggy mess and we all just stop and think, “that definitely could have spent a bit more time in the oven”. This is the case for these 5 games which infamously marked their place in recent game memory."
4/5, except you cant get through a multiplayer match so it should be 1/5. I've played maybe 15 rounds and got kicked probably 10 times. The game just throws you back to the dashboard. And when your running or driving it seems the stutter. PS4 users have had the same issues and took them a week to supposedly fix them. How can you release a game like that? Unacceptable.
As someone who owns the PS4 version and played the PC beta (will buy it at Gamestop black friday sale), I can say that I'm disappointed with BF4 on the PS4.
It just looks rather lackluster in comparison to what the system should be able to do. I know the PS4 has more horsepower to give the game with some optimizations.
I know it's a PS exclusive game but Killzone Shadow Fall did the PS4 justice. That game looks stunning, even in comparison to a lot of the PC FPS games I have played recently. Even more amazing is knowing it's running on tiny small box (in comparison to my pc) that only cost $400. And it's just a launch game too.
I don't know, maybe they really did dumb down BF4 to look similar to the X1 version (which probably could look much better as well with some optimizations). Maybe they just needed more time to develop for the system? If that's the case I'm not sure what they did during development. BF4 PC looks and feels very similar to PC BF3 so not much was done there. I would imagine most of their resources would have gone into making it look just as good on the next gen systems. Or so I would think...

What platform are you on? The PS4 seems to be smooth now although there were a few issues during the 5 days or so after launch. If you are on the X1 just give it some time. It's only the Monday after the system's weekend launch. It's a brand new console. You have to give them a week or so to round out any rough edges.
There is a ton going on in BF4, compared to other games...that is why id doesn't look better.
Still looks awesome though.
I have fun on BF3 via xbox 360 WITHOUT HD.....anything is an upgrade for me.
