15 RPGs To Look Forward To In 2014

With a new year comes a new set of RPG games to cut your teeth on.

Alright, let me make this as clear as possible.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is NOT coming out in 2014, no matter how optimistic you want to be. SE has already said KH3's release will be noticeably gapped with FFXV on the PS4/XBO.
'X' might have a chance, but I doubt it because Nintendo hasn't even given us an official name yet.

That being said, it is a good year for both RPG fans next year.

There are a few games on that list that I doubt are released in 2014. It will still be a good year for RPG fans though.

After 3/4 years comes the glorious RPG year when all RPGs release....First 2007,then 2011...now 2014.....Can't they spread out the releases over the years....I still remember 2011 playing through all those titles one after another...then a huuuuge 2 year gap with little to no great RPGs...Now 2014....

I'll probably be getting Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD for the Vita (X-2 gets extra content I never played, I think).

Anyone know if the Vita version looks bad compared to the console version?

They should run exactly the same, it's just an HD upgrade so the vita will be able to handle it.

That's what I thought. Then I saw an interview from Tetsuya Nomura about how SE Japan was gonna make FFXV sequels because of when they were going to release the game... topped with the fact that FFXV's development on the next gen consoles started in 2011, I think we could be looking at a May-June 2014 release in Japan and a July-August release for the west.

Elder Scrolls Online is a joke.
Not allowed to go into detail but, from what I have played . . . the game doesn't live up to even the average MMORPG.

Keep in mind that what I was shown was what developers wanted me to see . . .
I can only assume that that was the best on offer at the time.

Project X is at the top of my list. Xenoblade is currently my favorite game of all time, so I'm hoping X will hold up to it. Maybe even take it's place with how it's looking.
I'm also sorta looking forward to KH3 and maybe the FF game. but I don't see both of those coming out 2014.

Rubbish list. In addition to the games that aren't coming out in 2014, it's also missing a couple of the biggest RPGs of next year--Divinity Original Sin and Wasteland 2.

Are the only ones I'm interested in. Also, I never heard of "Lords of the Fallen," but it looks like it could good.

A game not on the list that I'm looking forward to (that may not come out in 2014) is "Cyberpunk 2077."

LoL no "The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash" in the list article fails just for that, that's my most anticipated game currently.
