MK is 21? Now I really feel old. I remember when the first game came out!

Sadist33849d ago

I'm 32 years old, but I don't see myself as being old just because I've played this in the arcade. I remember the "no throwing" rule from back then. If you threw someone, you would have to let them throw you back or else you'd be fighting for real in the arcade.

My 11 year-old eyes couldn't take what I was seeing at the time. I had to go outside the arcade and take a deep breath before going back inside and getting my ass handed to me by a Scorpion player.

I was 11 also when it hit the arcades.
That rule was retarded. Scorpion's "get over here" was the same as a throw if not worse. So what was the point? I threw people all the time but sucked so bad I would lose anyway. When I did win, there was so much pressure to perform a fatality that I rarely pulled them off.
Arcades were awesome back then. I'd go with about $5-$10 but when I blew through my money on Mad Dogg McGee, I would just watch other people play.
Remember the Washer and fishing line trick?

Telltale shares new images from The Wolf Among Us 2, release 2024

The long-awaited sequel to the 2013 narrative adventure is currently expected out sometime in 2024.

Oh hell yeah! I feel like this was one hell of an underrated game, and I'm glad to see that a part 2 is coming.

jznrpg21d ago (Edited 21d ago )

This was my favorite Telltale game. I’m definitely going to play this. Hopefully it has less jank than the Telltale games had. I didn’t think it would happen but I’m happy it’s coming

right? it was sooo good, cant wait for part 2

Great, loved the first game and happy a sequel is coming but after such a lengthy development, are Telltale gonna be releasing it episodic with non specific time delays between episodes? If it is episodic, they need to have a full set of dates laid out for every episode so we know what we are getting & when like Resident Evil Revelations 2 did, buying episode 1 and not knowing when the rest will come is just unacceptable in 2024.

I always loved Telltale games. They were like those old choose your own adventures books.
