Titanfall devs want to 'stretch the limits' of multiplayer

Respawn plans to incorporate single-player features into a new kind of online multiplayer. (PC, TitanFall, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Well 7v7 with additional AI isn't really stretching any limits in multiplayer tbh

neither are mechs and jet packs

The way they are used within the match or battle might be new though.

Not just about looks.

60+ E3 Awards, Best of show at E3, Gamescom, TGS and EBGAMES Expo say otherwise.

@irishguy

you must be so unhappy with yourself..come in here attacking someone for stating the fact.you are a disgrace to not just fanboys but to yourself and all gamers. so do us all a favor kid cos obviously you are the one who is lost so you should get out of here instead of trolling so aimlessly.

all those awards and yet its still looks like cod with mechs and jet packs. both of which have been done in older games.

@GryestOfBluSkies

Yet COD is the franchise it is today because of who?

Answer= infinity Ward aka RESPAWN ENTERTAINMENT
GryestOfBluSkies  +   515d ago
@auric

im not sure if you're defending my claims are slamming them... but you sure are making my point pretty clear. titanfall is not at all groundbreaking.
i know that respawn used to be a part of infinity ward, which is why its so easy to make that comparison.

@3-4-5

that is true, i guess time will tell. from the footage ive seen so far tho, im not seeing anything new.

Lol, I was clearly being sarcastic

7v7 is from the E3 build.

Player counts haven't been locked yet, and there are multiple modes. I've heard 64p counts being thrown around, as well as 32 and 24.

Wait it's only 7vs7?? wtf lol

this game will certainly be a system seller....havnt been so hyped for a game since halo2..and to think halo5 and this may be coming out within the same period..niiiice.....great work guys...keep making it the best it can be...xbx live will run hot when these games are released.

Titanfall is releasing in Spring, In between March and June. Halo 5 will most likely come out November 2014. I'm super excited for this game as well, can't wait to play it on PC.

i thought halo5 would be released mid next yr ...still looking forward to it though and i also wish ms would allow cross platform play between pc and consoles...

"i also wish ms would allow cross platform play between pc and consoles..."

I don't, because consoles gamers would be at a disadvantage. The accuracy of the mouse and keypad is unbelievable when you play shooters. Well for me anyway, anyhow see you on TitanFall XB1.

The game is fun, but it's also very similar.

I kind of wish they had gone outside the box a bit more, but I guess when you're trying to fill the dying CoD void, you've got to play it safe in some areas. Definitely looking forward to the game, in any case.
