Hands on: Nintendo 2DS Review | TechRadar

When it comes to Nintendo's ideas, the 2DS is up there with the Virtual Boy on first glance.

It's almost as if the team decided to push out an early 3DS concept for a laugh. By taking away the clamshell design and the 3D functionality - both headline features of the flagship handheld - it's left a lot of people understandably confused. (Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo DS) -

Solid review.

I think it's going to end up selling much better than people think it will.

* Will be a collectors item 10-15 years from now.

To me, this just hints at us going back to something like the Wii U game pad.

* Touch screen, one screen, stylus, 2 analog sticks, 2 triggers, 4 buttons, HD

just makes too much sense really.

I'm not saying it WILL be, but It's my best educated guess.
