The retailer bought them off Sony to sell them so they are just trying to clear stock and make some money off the investment. Still lets hope no-one buys it at Christmas

Why do they hurry to close it? I never bought it but it seems pretty good by the demo/trial... Mgo got closed after 4 years and i still dont enjoy competetive mp gaming much, besides bf,tlou, and splinter cell blacklist.

There's no one playing, maybe 100-200 at any given time. It's probably not worth the price.

yea matchmaking for a large 256man game cant really happen anymore

i really enjoyed mag its sad to see such a great game lose support...at least bot the game and leave some servers up

maybe i can sell it on ebay lol

It's not as expansive population wise as it was during the beta but it's still pretty easy to get a game in 1-4mins.

Loved the game played since the beta and will play till the bell tolls. Then I'll put it on my shelf and remember the game. It's the only game I usually have in m ps3 at any given time.

Hehehe, this is why I don't buy games without doing a bit of research first.

The downside to dedicated servers. Maybe they will release a p2p patch?

I cannot even fathom the lag that 256 player p2p would entail

However, maybe a patch where people could cost their own dedicated servers, either on a PC or PS3?
