VVV: "When Evolution Studios declared that Drive Club will support all PS4 wheels, it was surely only a matter of time before a wheel designed specifically for the PS4 would be announced. And now here it is: the Thrustmaster T80 Drive Club Edition."
i'll give YOU a thrustmaster! hey ohhh!!!
Hmm never had a racing wheel because I never really liked racing games that much. But lately I have been interested in them an I want to see if a wheel will make the games more immersive while still being easy to use. Is a wheel really worth it or is a controller just as good? I may also condider the PS4 gun if the shooters support it like Move was supported by quite a few games that I have.
A wheel is most definitely worth for a game like GT5. The difference is night and day but don't get a cheap one.
You are so right, I have never been a big racing fan except for BURNOUT....but since PS4 has been announced I have a day 1 purchase, I feel for some reason inclined to want one for all my next-gen games that are racers, and that I do decide to purchase..So after looking at this one I like it but will wait until something like this comes along with force-feed back,I don't really care about the clutch..just give me everything this wheel has with force-feedback!!!
Seriously, why buy a wheel without force feedback?!? Crazy
@spaceg0st : exactly what I was thinking!!!!
Agreed. Force feedback makes the game so much better. Have either of you played Burnout: Paradise with a wheel? It's awesome! Better yet, have you played it with the Move racing wheel? Go try it, if you can. It's the most fun way to play the game!
My first racing game was Midnight Club 2 and I still haven't found a better racing series. I have all the games except the first one. Burnout was okay, but I hated the time trials that some of them had, I just like taking down people and the crash events. The fist NFS Underground was good also, but too bad EA started sucking after that. Hopefully Midnight Club 5 will support this wheel.
When you start with a wheel, you probably will feel uncomfortable, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty sweet.
Kool, when the time comes I will keep that in mind!!!
Oh man I would love to play Driveclub with this.
if this wheel doesn't have force feedback, I would recommend buying a Logitech wheel for the PS3/PC. The difference is night and day.
A stupid question: how do you handle with this? I know that on PC you just mount the wheel on a table and the gas under your table, but thats not the case with a console. Help.
Place the thrustmaster between your legs.
It's exactly the same with console you mount it to a table, there is no difference between pc and console wheels they both mount the same
my point is that i don't have a table at my livingroom, only a couch and the tv standing on a table far away.
I am gonna use this to play infamous!
Please give this man some bubbles lol.
On PS2 I played Mortal Kombat 3 with a Guitar Hero guitar. You couldn't move but the frets work for punching and kicking.
I'm going to play infamous with the power glove.
I'm going to use to pwn people in Killzone Shadowfall. I'm going to murder some PC elitists also in Battlefield 4 because wheel>mouse and keyboard. LOL jk.
Thrustmaster? Is that thing a steering wheel or a sex toy?
Ever heard of the song "No Lie" by 2chainz? There's a line in it that fits nicely with your comment. Here: http://rapgenius.com/2-chai... Keyword steering wheel.
Does anyone know yet if Logitech PS3 wheels will work on the PS4? I have one and would like to play Drive Club with it, and don't really care to purchase a new wheel until I can get a really nice one.
As for drive club supporting PS3 wheels.. Yes. http://www.thesixthaxis.com... Edit: I guess its up to the developer... I hope so, love my G25...
Not exactly confirmation.:( The article says that it has DS4 support, and some of the DS4 features aren't going to be in the PS3 wheels. Maybe it'll work though. I know that wheels have their own API in games, and don't use standard controller mapping. If Logitech has a backwardly compatible driver for the devs, then it should be OK, sans specific DS4 features of course. Thanks for posting.:)
This is another link I found.. Mmm http://www.simdriving.net/n...
Yeah, hope I can use the G25 on PS4.
I have my thrustmaster 500 and I love it. I just need a proper set up because I get back pains from a wooden chair haha
I will buy this steering wheel if only GT6 is on PS4
No force feedback?!? Nope. Definitely not getting it. I have a great Logitech wheel that will work just fine. ^_^ So excited for Driveclub!
lol thats what i thought .. NO force dfeedback steering wheels are a waste of money..I wonder if i will be able to use a CSR wheel on it though.
I'm using that as the nickname for my penis from now on. *thumbs up*
I have a Logitech Driving Force EX wheel, does anybody know if it will work on PS4? Hopefully it will work on Driveclub.
They've said that PS3 wheels will work on PS4. And by 'they' i mean the developers of DriveClub.
Thanks Zero, good to know.
They should start telling us what wheels are compatible with the PS4.
Sorry but i can't stop smiling about the name.
Only wheel I ever used was the Sega Saturn Arcade Racewheel. Still have it. I would consider a wheel for PS4 with the driving games coming out, but I would want a nice wheel that has the force feedback, just from the comments I'm reading on here.
Hey that looks really cool, plus it's not that much especially for a next-gen wheel.
