DSOGaming writes: "Team17 has released a new trailer for Worms: Clan Wars, showcasing the day/night cycle that will be featured in it."
This week, you can get Steamworld Dig for only $5, or pick up Worms Clan Wars for $6. Flatout is $2, Flatout 2 can be yours for $2.50, while Flatout 3 is $7.50, and Flatout: Ultimate Carnage is $5.
In an interview with Strategy Informer veteran UK developers Team 17 revealed that they will be taking a year-long break from their signature Worms franchise, after a mixed response to last entry Worms Clan Wars.
When asked at indie event Rezzed how Clan Wars had performed, Business Development head Nick Clarkson said, "Sadly not as well as we'd hoped. As a game it's probably the most complete version of Worms out there, at least on PC. Certainly post-launch the support for it was very good, there was bugs here and there and the team kept on top of it."
I think they named it hoping it would piggyback off the crazy success of Clash of Clans.
Worms celebrates its 18th birthday this month and to celebrate Team17 is holding a free-to-play Multiplayer Weekend on Worms Clan Wars and offering a discount off its entire Worms Steam catalogue.
Really looking forward to a next-gen worms game. Worms Armageddon and Worms Revolution are two of my most played games on my X360. In terms of local multiplayer it cant be beat.
Hopefully this will find its way to next gen in fully-optimized glory.
