EDGE - The neurology may have been suspect, but the science of game design flourished as Nintendo took the newborn DS into strange new worlds.
Here at God is a Geek, we've rounded up 6 DS and 3DS games that we want to see on Switch.
If Nintendo rolled out VC two years ago like they should have, there would probably be DS and 3DS games on the Switch by now. But yeah, I think DS and 3DS are something they should do.
The European Wii U eShop has received a late night surprise, Dr.Kawashima’s Brain Training (Brain Age in North America) has released.
The game has been made available for free and for a limited time following a similar release in Japan. Nintendo has not announced either release but did announce they would be bringing DS games to the Wii U Virtual Console in the future.
A lot has been said about how games have been dumbed down to suit the masses in this generation and I have to agree, very few games are anywhere near as difficult as these 4 anymore
What an interesting article. I played brain training a few times when it first came out, and I actually liked it a lot, despite the fact that it was basically the same kind of stuff that I was doing (and hating) at school.
And wow, 9 people worked on it and it only took 3 months? Then it went on to sell 19 million copies! That's just incredible! It must have had a massive profit margin.
I love these kinds of games, not sure how accurate they are but its usually a lot of fun for a little while.
