Ken McKown writes: I still remember when Zack Zero first arrived on PSN over a year ago. The bright art style and promise of 2D glory drew me in, and mostly satisfied my craving. Crocodile Entertainment is now bringing that experience to PC users, with enhanced visuals and added content, as well as the promise of future, free additions, making this the ultimate version of the game. Those that have never even heard of Zack Zero, and enjoy the genre, should definitely check out this under-the-radar title.

Zack Zero (ZZ) is a 2.5D platformer with a slight ‘metroidvania’ twist – upgradeable power suit, 2D puzzle solving, and difficult boss fights. Although that sounds insanely cool on paper, it’s infuriatingly frustrating in practise - not to mention glitchy.
Hardcore Gamer: The Indie Royale bundle has returned with an offering of five games for a bit under $5. That gets you Retrovirus, Signal Ops, Zack Zero, Vox, and Sol Survivor. A bonus game will be unlocked at some point in the future, and if you spend $8, you get the Lost Floppies Vol. 2 album.
