PlayDevil has posted an in depth review of the new fighting game from the Mortal Kombat developer which is named "Injustice: Gods Among Us".

"NetherRealm Studios have taken this opportunity to experiment, not only with the characters but also with their game engine. Though Injustice is clearly based on last Mortal Kombat game, significant changes have been made.
Gone are the high/low kicks and punches of NetherRealm's earlier titles, replaced instead by light, medium and heavy attacks. These can be used to string together easy combos that span across all characters, while also allowing for some deeper, character specific chains, juggles, and of course special moves."
