Pixels for Breakfast writes: Star Sword: The Pit tries to bring a successful universe into a new genre, and while it doesn’t do any one thing overtly wrong, a collection of shortcomings make it a hard game to recommend. If this was two or three years ago, The Pit would have been a great step in the right direction for the genre, yet after successes such as FTL and Teleglitch, it comes up short in almost every way.
