Finally? I think Killzone 2 was the best FPS this gen hands down.

I liked Killzone 3 even more because of the variety in the campaign, the set pieces, and the brutal melee. Its the game that made me a fan of the series

The only thing Killzone hasn't done to outdo competitors is sell more. That's it. It has trounced every other FPS this generation in terms of graphics and gameplay, yet the haters scream louder than the fans unfortunately, them being usually Halo and Call of Duty fans, so Killzone doesn't get its due.

Hopefully with the next iteration being a launch title for PS4, Killzone will finally get the attention and sales it deserves for being a brilliant masterpiece.

community was not really pleased with the direction they took with Killzone 3. They were trying to hard to accommodate the COD crowd with the controls. They also took away the one shot headshot that I, personally, loved. I think they should try to work themselves back to Killzone 2 while still retaining some of those key things from Killzone 3.

I was seriously disappointed with Killzone 3 hit detection.

Killzone2 was nice singleplayer fps, it choked online, slowdown & the controller lag did not help.

Killzone3 good sp, decent mp.

This game hopefully is better all round.

Killzone 2 is one of the BEST fps this generation. It was critically acclaimed, every relevant game site praised it and it has a 91 on metacritic.

No No No... You think just because the tech on PS4 will be SOO great that the gameplay will be better??? NO NO NOoooOO

The game has fallen because the controls are bad and people can't relate to it. End of Story. the graphics/tech was always good for killzone games... that was never problem so can the ps4 fix that?? I mean lets play devils advocate.. Say the ps4 sequel fixed the controls.. You still have the problem of relating to the game and since the dev are going further away of reality and more into scifi no onw will really care about this game... I do like KZ games though but I'm one in a sea of millions...

being a sci fi space opera has always been apart of the KZ lore and appeal. The killzone community love the themes of the KZ story which is why people get attached to characters, like Garza and Sev... and why they vehemently hate Rico after the events of KZ2.

People relate to the series its just a huge huge following like Call of Duty and Halo! but the franchise as a whole has a pretty substantial following! KZ:Shadow Fall will continue to be a technical show piece for PS Hardware, and it GG will continue to hone in on its craft! KZ2 was a master piece and i think in a few ways KZ3 upped the ante in terms of pacing and game play! They need to hire better writers and incorporate Motion cap techniques used throught the PS umbrella, Naughty Dog or Quantic Dream should pen the story for KZ and GG should do game play.

KZ:SF looks impressive and i cant wait to play it! DAY 1

The key to any shooter is the online infrastructure. I believe Res:FoM was the best shooter for the ps3 because it had the best and most solid online play. Clan support for friends matchmaking ranking in-game achievements and separate unrank custom games. Only thing I can say was missing was cross game chat which was Sony fault and not Insomniacs. Halo was successful because of its solid online structure more games should follow that model. Gameplay will always be preference but if you want to appeal to the mass market must have solid seamless online play. Too many developers miss those features and details that need to be incorporated into every game.
