MTV- Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien Review

MTV:Looking back at WiiWare, Nintendo's first attempt at an online marketplace, it's pretty clear that there was not a ton of standout software. However, in the end, there was ultimately an entire franchise that rose to the top, Gaijin Games' "BIT.TRIP" series. The six games that were released under the "BIT.TRIP" moniker (Beat, Core, Void, Runner, Fate, and Flux) set the standard for what great downloadable games on a Nintendo platform could be. Their retro-inspired art style and unforgiving difficulty helped them carve a niche out on WiiWare in a way that no other game, much less franchise, could touch. Now, two years after the last game in the series was released, Gaijin Games have returned with a new adventure for Commander Video, "BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Alien," and this time he's going HD and multiplatform.

There is hardly anything wrong with this addictive and utterly crazy game. From the moment the utterly bizarre advertisement pops up and Charles Martinet’s voice flows through the speakers you know you are in for a crazy and delightful experience.

There is so much to keep you entertained with this Cross-Buy title and the desire to play it through twice is an easy choice to make. BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend Rhythm Alien is mad fun for the whole family and I cannot recommend it enough.

Bit.Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien Review (Invision Community)

Runner2 is the new (or old) 2D sidescroller, PlayStation 4 release by Gaijin games, which came out back on February 24th but if you’ve been paying attention you’ll probably know that the game was released on other platforms back in 2013.
