EA’s Peter Moore has rubbished claims by website Videogamer.com that Dead Space 4 had been cancelled following poor sales of Dead Space 3.
Earlier this week website Videogamer.com published a story which claimed that “EA has ceased development on Dead Space 4 and effectively axed the series following lower than anticipated sales of Dead Space 3.” The writer David Scammell claimed to have learnt the information from an ‘unnamed source.’
Frankly, could be either. Both are especially prevalent in the industry today.
Why? Dead Space left scary behind. Now it's just not the same it's to much action.
Better they focus those resources on Mirrors Edge 2 anyway.
DS3 was such a let down and the reception of the news of DS4's cancellation should be evidence enough that the Dead Space series has reached an end when it comes to fans concerns.
I just wasted my money on pitchforks and torches for everyone on n4g so we could hunt EA.
Hope you enjoyed the hits fellas (you didn't get mine).
