Push Square: "Don't play Super Crate Box if you've got important things to do. It's a timesink, a stupendously enslaving arcade-style game that refuses to ease you in gently, instead enticing you in with extra bits and bobs until you realise that you're well and truly trapped in its box."
"I keep finding myself drawn to old-school indie games so here are 5 recent retro titles for Switch that are impressively enjoyable." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums

Vlambeer has announced a trio of titles for Switch, including two ports and one brand new game.
The gameplay is good, but I found it disappointing that there's no incentive to play the game other than to beat your own personal score for each stage. No leaderboard, no friends features. Only unlocks, which doesn't make sense for a score chasing game like this. Why unlock weapons when it's needed to level the playing field. It's like having to unlock Ryu's hadoken or guile's sonic boom in Street fighter. You're having to unlock the things in the game that are the very foundations of the whole game. Makes no sense at all. It's a bad design choice all for the sake of artificially giving the game length. But that's what defines this generation of gaming. Holding features back to make you think you're getting more for your money.
Aqua kitty on the other hand is a much better ps mobile game. It's challenging and there is incentive in the traditional sense.
Personally I think the game is brilliant.
