Warren Spector Hints At Epic Mickey 3

nintendolife.com: Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is out right now on Wii and Wii U. The game sees you painting your way through several Disney-esque levels with Mickey and his pal Oswald and is designed with two players in mind.

But Epic Mickey: The Power of Two did bad critically :|

sarshelyam4149d ago

Critics are stupid. I've been having a blast playing this with my son.

Jinkies4149d ago (Edited 4149d ago )

It's flawd

If you like it fine, good for you but the game is actually flawed making it bad.

Whats the point of doing Epic Mickey 3, he should move onto something else.

In my opinion adding co-op was a bad move, especialy when they couldn't even make a good game with one player.

One thing at a time Warren

MmaFan-Qc4149d ago (Edited 4149d ago )

the first game was bad, the second is on the same level of shittyness.

audio bug, boring, poorly executed gameplay, shitty camera, feel like a shitty game from 96.

too bad you have to justify your purchase.

Hydralysk4149d ago (Edited 4149d ago )

Another game that gets press solely because of the guy directing it....

I wish people would stop giving them attention, that way maybe they'd get the kick in the ass they need to start making decent games instead of relying on their previous games for recognition.

sarshelyam4149d ago

As I said above, it has nothing to do with the man behind the game, and everything to do with the game itself. I've been playing this with my son, and we love it. I think it's a case where the game lends itself well enough as a single-player experience, but it's design is ideal with two.

Nevers0ft4149d ago

The first game was terrible, with broken controls and camera. The second game doesn't sound like its addressed many of the issues with the first game. So why a third game... Third time lucky?

Presumably if they just keep making sequels then eventually one of them wont suck. It's a shame really, because there were some nice ideas in the first one, but they were terribly executed.

Some developers never admit that their time has already passed.

A Look Back at Disney Games on PlayStation Handhelds

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "There are few brands out there that have anything like the appeal and recognition of Disney. Thanks to decades of beautiful and critically acclaimed animated films, the company is a household name that has expanded beyond just movies to include a variety of other ventures, including videogames. Disney has also grown its lineup considerably in recent years by acquiring Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars (although for the purposes of this article, I’ll only be covering Disney/Pixar output).

Thanks to their broad audience, Disney games usually show up on every viable platform out there, meaning that despite the brand’s affinity with Nintendo’s younger-skewing audience, both the PSP and Vita received a number of titles throughout their lives. Some of this was through Disney's own developer/publisher (Disney Interactive Studios), but the firm also licensed out its IPs for other companies to try their hand at – with somewhat mixed results."

Xbox Game Pass Announces New Games - Alien: Isolation, The Walking Dead: Season 2, and More

Xbox Wire: "It’s true, constantly bringing more games to you is kind of our schtick at Xbox Game Pass, so let’s talk about the journey these latest additions took to get from us to you! We started with the customary good luck ceremony, during which we wrote heartfelt haikus in tribute to each game, and the social media team sang their rehearsal solos for the Xbox Game Pass: The Musical."

Nice adds. I like how their site has fun with the announcements.

lxeasy1892d ago

I heard really good things about the Alien game. Gonna check out. Another win for Gamepass

mark_parch1892d ago

alien isolation is a great game. I love how they stayed true to the original film with the late 70's sci fi vibe.

Estevez1892d ago

Alien: Isolation has the highest number of players who never finished the game - of all the games... this is why I never bothered with it...

gam3r_4_lif31892d ago

Alien isolation is great. It just needed some editing. If it was about 30% shorter it woukd have been a masterpiece

gam3r_4_lif31892d ago

@Estvez yeah because it got very repetitive and rather than them wrap it up and bring it home they added another 10- 15 hours of nothing new. But would defo check it out on GP if you never played it, it really is faithful to look of the movie and still looks great now

Greedsin1892d ago

It's a fantastic horror game, the Alien AI really keeps you on your toes.

I agree lots of great games.

Bnet3431892d ago

One of the few bright spots for the Xbox One is the Xbox Game Pass. I am waiting for them to be the Netflix of gaming. Even for new titles. That's the goal. That would be so awesome. That's like their main selling point.

Bronxs151892d ago (Edited 1892d ago )

The native 4k triple A 3rd party games like far cry 5, shadow of tomb raider, red dead 2 and metro exodus is also a selling point to me. and backwards compatibility with some 360 and OG Xbox games get free 4K patches like half life the orange box and KOTR. Also More and Better free games with gold and you actually keep the Xbox 360 free games forever. And they offer pretty good ones I’ve filled out my gaming library with good titles like South Park stick of truth for example. The controller and 4K blu Ray playback are nice as well.
And while they don’t have the best game library of all platforms there are still pretty great games that can’t be played on a Nintendo or Sony system like games in the halo Forza gears franchise and new games like ori and the blind forest quantum break from remedy sunset overdrive from insomniac. Plus looking forward to new games from ninja theory.

But your right game pass is a big plus. Getting titles like doom, hitman, shadow of the tomb raider, rise of tomb raider, fallout 4, rocket league, alien isolation, resident evil revelations, plus all first party Microsoft games is a damn sweet deal!

Greedsin1892d ago

It's shocking how much speed Game pass has picked up recently. The selection of new games is great so far.
