"Online gaming would be a whole lot different today if it wasn’t for games like Call of Duty.
They made it easy to get involved, and it’s more addictive than ever – it’s not uncommon to see people with over twenty days of online play under their belt.
It’s no secret that I preferred Blacks Ops’ multiplayer compared to Modern Warfare 3, but when it came it single player, Black Ops did not even come close – let’s see how this year’s multiplayer iteration holds up."
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Call of Duty players are jumping into Black Ops 2 for the final time before its Wii U servers go offline for good.
GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 leap up due to summer sales
Wow, good games never get old I guess.
CoD will always be a beast of a franchise, and how awesome is it that you can just boot it up or pop it into your Xbox and play, MS BC is really a neat feature.
This still doesn't convince me that the series has changed enough to warrant a purchase when there are so many other great games out at the moment.
IMO it turned out to be a good game. Sure, same engine, mostly same everything but MW3 let me down in both single player & multiplayer. Black Ops 2 has the best campaign in awhile an the multiplayer is just fun, and I like the character loadout setup of choosing any combo of 10 things. Nothing like a little Nuketown 2025 to top off a long day.
Of course this doesn't stop me from enjoying Hitman, AC3 & Farcry 3, but I don't play them for the multiplayer.
