Yes, it's an ending, and after it you can still continue exploring the island, but the final mission isn't available, if you want to get both endings, you'll have to replay the game.
Sex in games is so angering to parents, because they don't wan their kids to be plagued by the awful memory of realizing that their parents did that to conceive them.

I never said anything about the sex vs the violence, history has shown that people freak out about this sort of thing. Hot Coffee, Mass Effect etc. I think the quote above from the Game of Thrones author is spot on.
I rank it pretty high (in my top 5) in terms of story and animation quality. It was only until the works of Teruaki Murakami that I considered it surpassed.

I haven't played any Far Cry games so don't know how much of a continuing story it has, but $5 on the chick getting pregnant and the child being a plot point in a sequel.
