Another damn reviewer taking off points for not having Crash Bandicoot? What is with you people? How is it you are saying that when you know very well it isn't their characters and there is DLC on the way. How do you know it doesn't have Crash Bandicoot?

NukaCola4174d ago

You can take points off for whatever you want. Today's journalist don't have ethics or even credentials. It's pretty amazing how for as little as $10 a month, you can make a site, troll and blog and get indited into the metacritic. I know publishers need the publicity, but I would black list websites that pull crap like this. I hate NowGamer anyway for their biased reviewing amongst multiplatform games. This site is utter trash.

iamnsuperman4174d ago

To be fair it isn't specifically that they are not there its more that they wanted characters than the 20odd available. Will there be some through DLC? Sure but that's not the point and should not be included in a review.

carson_le_great4173d ago

they cant give the game extra marks for something that may not exist, how do you know crash will be in? either way they are grading the game that is out right now, DLC is irrelevant at this point and if there is DLC it will get its own rating.

smashcrashbash4173d ago

I am not saying it should get extra marks. Just don't take any away for it. That is an unreasonable reason. If i was a reviewer would it be reasonable to take points away from SSB because it didn't have Simon Belmont, Mega Man, Firebrand and Maximo because I thought they belonged in the game? Would you think that was fair?

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Launched 10 Years Too Early

Though PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale is a bit of a cult classic, it could have been a big hit if it launched in 2022 instead of 2012.

It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.

CrimsonWing69521d ago

Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?

It just couldn’t compete with Smash Bros. and it wasn’t a free-to-play game like Multiversus.

PapaBop521d ago

I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.

spoonard521d ago

I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.

Magatsuhi521d ago

Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.

Father__Merrin521d ago

Yes the power kills spoilt it completely WTH was they thinking you should have hp bar that's it

God of War: Ragnarok Weirdly Makes PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Canon

God of War: Ragnarok has plenty of fun references to PlayStation history, but now fans have discovered a conversation that calls back to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale — the crossover fighting game released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Nyxus528d ago

I wouldn't say canon. More like an easter egg.

Deathdeliverer527d ago

That’s interesting. It actually does make it canon lol. He mentioned it in a mainline game. I’d say that’s pretty cool.
