"Rather than starting the game with, "Are you a boy or a girl?" the player should be able to hit the option, "I don't care! Skip the story! Let me play! I'm 35-years old and time is precious!" With graphics as old as the series itself, I personally wouldn't have given it a 9 of 10. In my own review I gave it an 8.2, and I'm a huge fan of Pokemon.

Seems like this review focused almost exclusively on the turn-based strategy elements. There's what, one line (?) about the graphics.
