Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.
Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.
I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.
I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games

couldn't agree more, think it was No Mercy which i liked the best, although I remember the WCW NWO game being very good also.
In its current carnation it will never top the N64 games
IMO the story aspects became the worst. the universe mode isn't as good as the GM mode(imo)

instead of putting effort into single player story all we have gotten are past glory moments. i mean we are basically watching replays of old matches

the one wwe game few years ago with wcw story line was good(i had fun with story mode atleast)

all these years and no real ragdoll physics to make selling moves look different either. 2k15 and 16 have like halfassed ragdoll.

HCTP, SYM and No Mercy was cherished by its gameplay.
Its seems alot of people these days are more interested in stories in videogames then the actual game. Gameplay should be number 1.
wwe 2k14 was the last great release gameplay wise. wwe 2k16 still has the annoying chain grappling.

they could have a bad story but still a original story. these past wwe games have moments from past like 30 years of wrestlemania and attitude era
i rather just get original stories and that's just my personal opinion
Until they fix the ridiculous glitches, gameplay and horrible sound issues, release after release, engine revamp after engine revamp, "building from the ground up" claims, we've had enough. Unless you love what they were doing already then you will already buy this no matter what, but if you were tired of it 6 years ago, you will still be tired of it as everything that bothered you about the game back then still exists.
Pathetic yearly releases from a shoddy developer with no talent, figures. Fight Night Round 4 made me hate wrestling games and wrestling in general, it just showed me how hokey and ridiculous wrestling is as a concept, and this is coming from the biggest wrestling fan in the world back in the day, having gone to WrestleMania 23 and several other pay per views, owning tons of WWE DVD's and merchandise, I just hate wrestling now.

I can give you one main reason why not to buy it. Wrestling games are basically the same shit every year and if anything the only good wrestling games ever released is smackdown here comes the pain, shut your mouth, and smackdown vs raw 2006
Ea should step in and make a WWE game.
I bought WWE 12 last year...it was my first WWE game since the PS2 days. While I liked it the online was absolutely atrocious. I would love to get this first day but i'm waiting to see how the online is...and going by THQ's track record(WWE 12, UFC Undisputed 3) i'm not going to hold my breath that it will be good.
