The Last Story is one of the Wii's final RPG releases. With a gripping story but a lack luster combat system, Vaucresson breaks down what made it the best RPG released on the Wii.
It has been 10 years since Xenoblade arrived in the US, we look back at how the game almost never showed up if not for a group of dedicated fans.
I wish The Last Story would make a comeback.I played it years before I got around to Xenoblade. Mainly because of the scalping going on because of Xeno's limited run. It took me a few tries to get into it but once I did I couldn't put it down. A Wii hidden gem for sure.
I wish the Last Story get a Switch remaster or remake. That game deserves a second chance
These JRPGs stand up on their own.
For the Wii’s 15th birthday, here’s a list of 15 Wii games that deserve ports or sequels.
Lackluster combat? I LOVED the combat! It was fresh, exciting, strategic, and fun. I would like a sequel (hopefully we get one) to have have more challenge, more skills and abilities, and more depth but the magic circles and cover system was brilliant. It was a jrpg soul in a wrpg/action game body and was the 1st time ive seen anything like it bar FF12 which was still very rooted in the formula. This has so much optional content, choices, and half the story is banter between the characters. It was amazing. Sakaguchi clearly loves Gears and it was a positive influince imo. Story was classic jrpg epic romance world ending saga. Loved every minute of it.
