Well nothing is forever, best to enjoy the game its still here.

DCUO and Champion Online is decent alternatives to go to once this game close up shop.

While Champions does have a couple things in the costume creator that are nice ( 4 color combo rather than 2 and the ability to costume each limb independently) City of Heroes still has the edge in content, costume choices and overall game mechanics. To those that play Champions and DC hey to each their own, but you would be hard pressed to find a lot of CoH players that would go to either. Not that they are bad games, but there is just something about CoH that you can't get even close to in the others.
