Xbitlabs Reviews Asus F5R Notebook

Xbitlabs writes:

"ASUS' designers and engineers have introduced yet another interesting product. The F5R features a good chassis that could accommodate a more serious configuration, but it looks good even with a Celeron M and an integrated graphics core. This notebook is meant for office applications as is emphasized by the possibility of using its touchpad as a calculator."

Highs:

- Appealing, not low-end, exterior design
- Cool and quiet
- Good performance in office applications
- Reasonable price
- Turnable web-camera
- Touchpad can be used as a calculator

Lows:

- Mirror-like display coating
- Scanty accessories
- No wireless interfaces (in our configuration)
- No power-saving technologies from Intel
- Short battery life (due to the previous item)
