Coming this fall, SuperBot Entertainment will send out batches of beta codes to expand the game.
While Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale didn't get the best review, there are still some aspects of the game that deserve some credit.
Though PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale is a bit of a cult classic, it could have been a big hit if it launched in 2022 instead of 2012.
It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.
Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?
It just couldn’t compete with Smash Bros. and it wasn’t a free-to-play game like Multiversus.
I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.
I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.
Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.
God of War: Ragnarok has plenty of fun references to PlayStation history, but now fans have discovered a conversation that calls back to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale — the crossover fighting game released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
That’s interesting. It actually does make it canon lol. He mentioned it in a mainline game. I’d say that’s pretty cool.
I've been trying to get into this but just can't manage a code even though they've given them out in a few places already.
Link says 'leaks' are indeed true.
Well atleast Superbot did acknowledge the leak props for that. But i really doubt its the full roster the build is from mid 2011 so alot couldve been changed as hinted by this.
In addition, there was an unexpected and unintended leak in our beta that allowed fans to be able to see some additional content. We’ve enjoyed reading all of the fan reaction and are thrilled that so many of you are excited to learn more our character roster and level mash-ups, however we are still in development and the leaked content does not fully represent the final product
So i guess the leaked roster was indeed legit? But then again they said that it doesnt represent the full roster.
Being the fan/nerd that I am, I actually emailed superbot and asked about the ganes music because i was a bit nervous with how much impact the music will have in the game. They emailed me back saying how the demos seen are not the representation of the game. There are some noticable changes especially with the music. So i truely cant wait to see what changes they can make within a few months
"you are excited to learn more about our character roster"
Excited...more like disapointed
New Dante, Raiden, no Old Snake, no Crash, no Spyro, Trish from dmc as a minion, no Final Fantasy characters, hardly any more PS1 old school characters.
So I guess New Dante will be in the game then...I just can't believe they would actually include him despite most of us not giving a crap about him. We want the old Dante Superbot...COME ON
