Rainbow Moon Review | IGN

IGN: "At the end of the day, the rub with Rainbow Moon is that it’s a time investment, and it’s not a time investment those of you who don’t like grinding RPGs will want to make. But for those of you that do enjoy a solid, old-school grind, spending time with Rainbow Moon is time well spent, especially considering Rainbow Moon costs a meager $15. Put bluntly, that’s a hell of a value. Put more bluntly, Rainbow Moon is a lot of fun, and RPG fanatics should play it."

Every single one of these titles should make their way onto the Vita, come on Sony, I want to buy these games for my handheld!

I highly enjoyed the Soldner games by these guys, so to see them do something entirely different is pretty cool. This looks & feels like a Tactics/Disgaea game, being a huge fan of those this is worth checking out.

Rainbow Moon Review by Video Chums

“Rainbow Moon may not be for everyone but those who really get into it will love it a lot so I definitely recommend it to anyone who has an affinity for slow-paced SRPG adventures and doesn't mind grinding in order to unlock their full potential.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.

There's also the sequel rainbow skies. Tbh injust assumed this was already on the switch. I enjoyed it for what it was. Never did finish it though. I had the ps4 physical edition.

Yea, story wasn't great, especially dialogue, but some of the battle tactics got quite fun at higher levels. Sadly, I think Rainbow Skies sunk Sidequest Studios bc it came out years later than originally promised, and Vita enthusiasm had already died by then. EastAsiaSoft still owns this though as a publisher, so I'm guessing they're trying to squeeze some more out of it. I'd recommend it for like $15, probably nothing above that. I liked it enough.

I assumed it was too when I wrote it up. Never finished it either as fun as it was.
