It appears that there will be 2 versions of Epic Game's amazing new engine, Unreal Engine 4.
Hahahhaha :P very nicely said +1 :D (grrr that was supposed to be a reply ~.~ anyway this is for sonywone3)
probably a version for mobile devices & the other for nx gen consoles n PCs.. That means PS3/360/Wii U is left in the dust.. Good cuz ppl should know better than to think nintendo is going to stay with the times.. Launching a system right when new engines are being shown.. Real smart guys
WII U on the dust that's cool
One for consoles and one for pc :)
You got it wrong then, 2 versions: one for next-gen PCs AND next-gen console and the other version is toned down for next-gen mobile devices: -First, to define the next generation of graphics capabilities that are achievable with DirectX 11 PC’s AND future consoles. -And finally, to scale the technology and its feature set up and down the spectrum of future computing devices, including iOS and Android, and mainstream PC. Maybe they are making a version for mobile devices too?
i'd guess there is one for mobile and tablet devices and one for the pc's next playstation, wiiu and next xbox EDIT actually going by this "GPU’s which would give the engine some “unprecedented capabilities.”, and on the other hand there would be a “mainstream” renderer which would target mass market devices." i think it might be one version for top end PC's and one version for everything else, thought i think the one for mobile and tablet version i stated 1st makes overall more sense
Sorry dude WII U not gonna be with Unreal Engine 4
