BNR: It’s not everyday that amazing looking games appear in a game journalist’s inbox- wait, it is. There have, as of late, been plenty of great new space games, updates to familiar favorites, and fantastic innovation. The latest space game to catch my attention is the mysteriously-titled Space Noir, from N-Fusion, a freshly announced space dogfighting game in which you play as Hal Markham, a spacefaring bounty hunter. Gameplay looks a lot like most other space combat games- fly around, don’t die, fight battles in the stars, etc.
The first gameplay footage of ‘Space Noir’ by N-Fusion Interactive and Unity Games was nothing less than impressive. This upcoming PC and tablet action game takes you in to space, as you embark on a journey as a bounty hunter, Hal Markham. Along the journey, you’ll combat against interstellar dogfights with only the help of his AI companion named Rhonda.
From Strategyinformer.com: "Space Noir, as the name implies, is an intergalactic combat game that draws inspiration from film noir. While N-fusion’s creation eschews the clichéd black-and-white aesthetic many associate with movies of that era, Space Noir retains the cynicism, fatalism and betrayal that truly underpinned the genre. I spoke to Jeff Birns (CEO and Creative Director) and Joe Parisi (Studio Manager and Audio Director) of N-Fusion to find out more. ".
Gamesauce says: "To learn more about N-Fusion and The Fall, GameSauce interviewed the CEO of N-Fusion, Jeff Birns, about his background, the company’s history, working on a Deus Ex game, and future plans for the studio."
