This…is my Boomstick!
There is just something so satisfying about learning the spread and effective killing range of a shotgun.
You charge toward your enemy, finger poised over the trigger, feeling the devastating potential of the weapon steadily grow. As you get closer it's power elevates from fairly ineffectual to powerful to lethal to blood splattering overkill. BLAM!
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.
"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!
How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera
And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
While there’s likely already a list behind closed doors, one can still speculate and offer logical suggestions for titles new and old that should find their way into the PlayStation and Switch libraries.
Some of these seem to be exclusive for lack of enthusiasm of the publisher rather than because of deals. A lot of cool indies skip ps for some reason like katana zero, el paso, elsewhere and gunbrela
They really think PlayStation fans would want to play Redfall? Pfft.
Personally nothing on that list would be any game I’d want to play.
I’d absolutely love Hellblade 2, Palworld, and Quantum Break on ps5 as I’m sure tons of others would too. There’s nothing wrong with wanting games from another console and its sad that people try to act like they aren’t interested in them.
Sunset Overdrive makes very good sense. Palworld might.
Don't know about the others. Hellblade II does make sense given the original launched on PS4 first. Quantum Break was a massive letdown for me. I absolutely hated the whole TV show thing and I don't think anyone should have to relive that on modern hardware.
I love it when a shotgun just blows apart my enemy. All the gooey, colorful chunks that just fly out on contact...
So satisfying!
The Geth Plasma Shotgun was pretty badass but it's nothing compared to the sheer destructive warpath the Claymore can dish out. It's a OHK Beast.
Is Claymore a ME3 shottie?
I don't play ME3 Multiplayer so I'm only familiar with what I encountered in single player.
I will never forget that shotgun blast to the face on the E3 demo of The Last Of Us, I would also put Halo 4's forerunner shotgun.
For me, hands down it has to be the double barrel shotgun on Hitman 2.
That deep bass sound while they're launched into the air off their feet is so damn satisfying.
