Han Cilliers from MWEB GameZone takes a look into the Cyberpunk genre and at Cyberpunk 2077's potential to deliver a game true to the culture.
The essence of Cyberpunk has been summed up in these few words, “high tech and low life” by many. It sounds like a fairly straight forward genre, yet it is easy to misrepresent. It’s not only about future tech, sleazy cut scenes, and crooked cops. Many video games have paraded under the banner of cyberpunk but, missing the subtleties of the genre, have failed miserably to capture its dark heartbeat.
Source code for CD Projekt's action role-playing games The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 have allegedly been compromised.
Well they are using unreal engine now thanks to there work culture and horrific job on making cyberpunk so for the future no impact.

Cyberpunk 2077's launch resulted in a loss of goodwill with gamers, but there is a way to earn it back with the upcoming sequel.
They will need to add everything they promised in the first one and not over promise on the second one.
As somebody who has been playing the tabletop games since the 90s and was let down on launch by my PS4 version, you can bet I'm not going the preorder any sequel.
3rd person option, and everything else that was originally promised. Next don't force agenda driven naratives. Finally, release a finished product without need for day one patches.
During CD Projekt’s Fiscal Year 2023 earnings call, CEO Michael Nowakowski said that the company is keen on licensing its IP rights to third-party developers to create mobile adaptations of its titles.
I am really really excited at the prospect of this game coming out. I used to play the pen and paper Cyberpunk RPG game and I loved it (glad the chairman of R Talsorian Games is involved!), so to get the opportunity play the video game is going to be a great opportunity to do some reminiscing of the early 90's. Plus, I am also a fan of the William Gibson novels that pretty much put this genre on the map.
It looks like Pondsmith knows what he's talking about, and R Talsorian Games certainly knows how to deliver a triple A game. Excite!
I never played the previous games, but was always fascinated with the Gibson look on the future, so to have a game about it, makes me a happy camper!
