Twinfinite Staff Enrolls In XCOM

If you haven’t played XCOM: Enemy Unknown yet, you really should. The strategy and RPG elements are great to play around with. The best thing about XCOM though, is being able to name soldiers after people you know. In this case, I named my entire army after my coworkers here at Twinfinite. This will be updated every couple of days as I progress through the game. Hit the jump to see which of the staff dies and which ones you would want repelling an alien invasion.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown - A Welcome Rebirth

XCOM: Enemy Unknown rebooted the series back in 2012, and has since inspired numerous new strategy game series to be born.

If someone gets into this I'd recommend getting the enemy within version. It's got all the dlc included so it's the better version. Wish the author would've atleast mentioned it. I didn't see it.

Fantastic game though. Xcom 2 is top notch also. I've spent countless hours in these games.

What other games were inspired by this game?

Gears Of War Tactics, Phoenix Point. Many others.

Phoenix point if I remember was created by the original xcom developer or something to that affect. I did try gears tactics some months ago and I just couldn't get into it. It's probably just me

It was, but it was really closer to the newer XCOM than the older ones. Gears Tactics was okay but was hard to get into knowing there probably wont be a sequel.

2K Support Hacked, Warning Issued To Affected Users

The help desk platform used by 2K Games for its customer support has been hacked, with malicious emails sent to certain players.

JBplusVB582d ago

I was one of those users that got an email. Good thing I didn't open it. The email is from actual 2k support so I'm sure many people opened them. Scary stuff Take Two. You guys should invest some of your billions of dollars into some advancements for network security. I wonder who's getting hacked next at Take Two. First GTA 6 and now this.
